Job Description

As part of the development of Atlantis Studio’s first game, we are looking for an experienced Technical Artist specializing in shader creation, VFX, and render targets.

Under the supervision of the Game Director, your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the design team on prototyping and iterating game mechanics
Defining and proposing unified pipelines and workflows tailored to production needs
Creating VFX in Niagara, optimized shaders, and helping the team use these tools
Actively contributing to the custom renderer in Unreal Engine 5 using Lumen, Niagara, Custom Depth, Post Process, animated materials, etc.

Profile

3+ years as a Tech Artist on a real-time 3D game (AA+ shipped project)
Mastery of Unreal Engine 5 and modern C++
Strong artistic sense, HLSL skills, 3D math understanding
Autonomous, analytical, team-oriented, organized
Strong observational and communication skills
Excellent video game culture
Cinema knowledge is a plus
Professional working proficiency in French is required.
