Job Description

We are seeking a Lighting Artist specialized in real-time lighting and atmosphere creation.

Responsibilities :

Designing immersive and stylized lighting setups
Creating both static and dynamic lighting in UE5
Collaborating closely with Art, Environment, FX, and Level Design teams
Optimizing lighting for performance without sacrificing visual quality
Managing exposure, post-process, and mood control
Ensuring visual consistency across all scenes
Demonstrate a sensitivity to level art in order to enhance scene staging and overall environmental composition
Improving lighting workflows and proposing tool enhancements

Profile

3+ years in real-time lighting for 3D games (AA+ shipped project)
Strong Unreal Engine 5 knowledge (Lumen, post-process, baked lighting)
Excellent artistic eye for color, contrast, and atmosphere
Experience with performance constraints on consoles
Interest in level art and the ability to occasionally contribute to scene composition and environment dressing are a plus
Basic understanding of VFX and material creation is a plus
Autonomous, organized, strong team spirit, versatile collaborator
Excellent video game culture
Professional working proficiency in French is required
